I had a horrible dream that my oldest son was in a auto accident and died. I saw the entire accident and him lying there; Then all I saw was myself whaling with tears, doubled over holding my stomach because of such sorrow and vomiting. What in the heck does this all mean?

  1. I think that it is best if you pray for your son. Ask Jesus Christ to protect your son from all accidents and from all harm and danger. Pray and ask God to put the blood of Jesus Christ over him and pray and ask God to put the armor of God on him. (Ephesians 6).  Sometimes God gives persons warning before something bad happens. Take care!!!

  2. usually when i have horrible dreams, it's because i saw an image on tv, or in the paper.  it might not mean anything.  or it might mean that you're scared of your son dying in a car crash.

i'm sorry you had such a bad dream.  being a first time mom, i read your post & my heart ached.

    HUGS!

  3. This means that your son will outlive you and that he will be of benefit to you.  The opposite here is true.  Worry not, though the dream was troublesome.

    Regards

  4. Although it is possible to dream about events before they occur, most dreams dealing with the death of a loved one have absolutely nothing to do with death. Therefore, the dream is in all likelihood metaphorical and not literal. With this in mind, one possibility suggested by the dream is that various people in your life (such as your mother and friends) may be given you advice about the raising of your son because they believe you are in the process of "losing him" (e.g. not enough parental guidance and supervision). However, in the dream you are pointing out that you can still see that your son is fine.

  5. Death in dreams is rarely about a literal death, it is usually about change or transformation.  I don't know how old your son is, but are there changes going on in your relationship right now?  If he is growing up and pulling away from your or the family, doing more on his own, being more independent, etc. this can cause some fear about how the relationship will change.

  6. You have worries about your son is it not / So much so that it make you [ill]

  7. You can easily look up dream meanings on the internet. (: I have.

  8. I'm sure it was just one of those weird rare dreams. Don't worry I I'm sure it doesn't really mean anything. You probably saw something on TV or have heard of a horrible accident or something like that. And since I'm sure you love your son to death it just kind of combined the two together. I don't have kids but I've had dreams like that of my parents, where something awful happens to them and it is so real. But nothing has happened to them and the dreams have not recurred Try to do something fun to get your mind off the dream:)

  9. Ok.  Usually when someone has a dream like this; it may not have any meaning to it.  There are times when people will have a bad dream for no appearent reason.  Did you recently watch a movie or read a book that had an accident take place?  Do you know someone who was recently in an accident; or did you witness a car accident recently?  If yes; then maybe that caused you to have this dream.  Don't let it worry you too much.

  10. to be honest, it counds like you are somewhat scared of your son growing up. you need to relax and let him move ahead with his life. in your dream you obviously didn't want him driving and you are scared that he might crash, so you would do your best to hold him back. in life you may be scared of him reaching out for his dreams, but you have to let him take these chances.

the sorrow in your dreams may be because of a build up of stress, make sure before you sleep that you think positive thoguhts and stay calm, try and sort out the stress that is building up in your life, and sure enough these 'nightmares' will dissapear and everything will be calm once again
