What does this make me??

I recently came over anorexia. Now i still eat healthy but hate any kind of junk food. I just feel like when i eat it, im breaking a promise to myself. I know it sounds silly. I also don't eat red meat. I just stick to like chicken and fish or tofu like high protein stuff. So what does this make me?? Not quite a vegetarian. And i only eat egg whites because i know that yolks are high in cholestrol. I know its stupid for a teen to worry about that, but please don't make fun because i fell that it reflects a way of living. thanks in advance =]]

  1. Pollo/Pescetarian: A class of omnivore would eat no other meats except seafood and chicken both of which are just as much animals as pigs, lamb, cow, etc.

  2. You're not a vegetarian. What it makes you is someone who is not eating. If you are still eating animals it means you are an omnivore.

You can eat food without it being considered "junk". Many people don't eat junk food and make promises to themselves but you are allowed the occasional brownie or cupcake. Eating purely protein alone isn't enough for your body to gain the necessary essentials. You need to have a variety or balanced components in your diet.

  3. I'm glad you're in recovery and that you're eating healthfully.  Cutting out red meat can be really good for you and it can also be a step towards vegetarianism, if that's your ultimate goal.  But there's not really a name for it.  If people ask I'd just say, "I don't eat red meat."

  4. Congradulations on eating again..My Daughter is a recovering anorexic also.7 YRS AND COUNTING .She almost died down to 82lbs.She got pregnant and it shocked her into reality when she saw the changes it did.She also eats allot of chicken and fish and doesn't eat the junk food hardly either. It is not stupid for a teen to worry about things like this it is smart that you at least eat and want to eat healthy. You are not a vegetarian if you don't eat just salad and greens, vegetable sort thing ..YOU ARE JUST BEING HEALTH CONCISE.Good luck sweetie and keep the good work up.....

  5. You're just a picky eater who is probably still suffering from an eating disorder. You're definitely not any type of vegetarian or anything. You're an omnivore.

  6. ed-nos

    (eating disorder not otherwise specified)

    it's like, the transition in/out of anorexia/bulimia.

before I was anorexic, I had ednos.

  7. Chicken is worse than red meat.

Don't worry about being vegetarian, just worry about overcoming your illness.

You are a recovering anorexic that doesn't eat red meat.

It seems quite odd to ask people what you are based on one paragraph.

  8. well you're not a vegetarian or vegan...that just makes you a picky eater.

  9. just picky eater, your not veghead or anything...

  10. I recently came over anorexia as well, and also I now hate junk food. People shouldn't judge you for being like that because obviously you are just trying to be healthy like me. And people shouldn't make fun of you doing that because they probably eat c**p all day and are fat. Hope this makes you feel better =]

  11. It makes you a recovering anorexic omnivore.  Vegetarians do not eat animals.  Chickens are animals.  So are fish.

  12. omnivore.. u eat chicken&fish

  13. A recovering anorexic and you still have a little ways to go:

Just don't get too carried way with not eating red meat. But when you do get range fed lean meat: (Lot of people call them scrub cattle) That has not been feed lot raised:

As far as not eating junk food that is good. A lot better munching on fresh fruit and tastes better too.

  14. You are not a vegetarian, but bless your heart for overcoming anorexia.  It is a tough battle and it could have ended so badly.  Vegetarians do not eat any type of meat.  We mostly do it for ethical reasons, but for health reasons as well.

  15. I think you are still in the omnivore (meat and veggie eating) category. If you are just recovering from anorexia then try to stay focused on being healthy and following your doctor's orders. You don't need a label to define who you are, you just need to be who you are.

  16. I do the same. I don't think there's a name for it. I also only drink soy milk.

I know that if you don't eat meat but you do eat fish and other seafood that there is a name for that.

  17. you are an omnivore. im sorry that you suffered anorexia, but im glad that you are comming back to your good health. as a lot of other people said, for now worry about putting some healthy weight back on. good luck!!! : )

  18. You are an omnivore.  Vegetarians do not eat animal flesh..ever.
