  1. all of the parenthesis at the end are only to close all they opened so... work backwards 1/5 - 1/6 find the common denominator which is 30 so that gives u 6/30 - 5/30 = 1/30 okay then move to the next 1/4- 1/30 =  15/60 - 2/60 = 13/60 and repeat... 1/3 - 13/60 = 40/120 - 26/120 = 14/120 and repeat. 1/2 - 14/120 = 60/120 - 14/120 = 46/120 okay so then 1-(46/120) reduce to get your answer

    hope it helps:)

  3. ok im taking a wild guess with this one so try and see if you can follow.... or if im even doin the right thing

    1-(1/2 - (1/3 - (1/4 - (1/5 - 1/6))))

    (1/5 - 1/6)

    6/30 - 5/30 = 1/30

    (1/4 - 1/30)

    15/60 - 2/30 = 13/60

    (1/3 - 13/60)

    20/60 - 13/60 =  7/60

    (1/2 -7/60)

    30/60 - 7/60 = 23/60

    1 - 23/60

    60/60 - 23/60 = 37/60

your answer should be 37/60....i guess lol
