  1. Those at a disadvantage in our society can use the power of rhetoric to face systematic oppression.

One of the best examples is Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., who used his inspiring speeches to combat the stifling racism in the South.  His "I Have A Dream" Speech still inspires millions across the world, especially the powerless.

  2. It means that the mind is infinitely powerful and so is a person's vocabulary , so anyone , the president , or a seventh grader can have power

    with their vocabulary

  3. Words allow people who  are repressed to voice their protest  and  to get the information to others until the problem gets the attention it deserves. (i.e. stopping  the killing in Darfur, getting food to starving people in Myanmar after the problem there.)

  4. There is power in numbers, and when the people speak out, their power is limitless.

  5. Shows hoe the people who in society dont have authority such as in the "olden" days the peasents had no authority compared to the kings/queens but the words which they protested and said to others is what gives them a voice and enables them to show their opinion therfoer giving them power.
