  1. directly translated it means overliving person of the war

above me if the correct translation

  2. Survived from the War... two dots over the U so you write it on your computer Ueberlebender using (Ue)

  3. It means something about "the war" I've never heard of the first word though. Blitz krieg for example meant lightning war. And usually it is "das" instead of "des." I've never heard that conjugation of "the" There is der, die, das, dem, and den, but I've never heard des.

    Uber means "more" or "over"

EDIT: I guess "des" is the genitive conjugation. I forgot about that one. Well I still don't know what the first word is.

Oh I just found it. Uberlebender means "survivor."

    So Survivior of the war

  4. Survivor of the war, that's what it means...

  5. It is Survivor of the War. And yes, there is such a thing as 'des' it means 'of the' and is genitive case

  6. Survivor of War!!

  7. It has to do with the holocaust ,WW2

  8. "war survivor" or "veteran"

"Überlebender" would be correct, and it's easier for me to write it, as I'm a German and have a German keyboard. And "Krieg" is spelt with a capital K; the genitive, however, is correct.

It's the German word for someone who fought in battle and survived.
