I had a dream last night that kept me awake. I was going up a beautiful mountain and the path kept wrapping around the mountain, but I couldn't find a path to the top. I kept looking for the path but I just kept circling. I was on my cell phone with my friend (my friend now because we couldn't date due to the distance and he is moving here now and not sure I am wanting to be romantic with him) and he and I were talking the entire time that I was lost. I then spoke to my ex boyfriends parents (I am close to them but I hate their son now) and then I spoke to my daughter and she was captured by someone and I couldn't figure out where she was on the path. I continued to just wind around the mountain and then the sky turned very blue and I saw a huge lake that was as blue as the sky and it took me to the top and I looked over the top at the beautiful lake and there was a path that was man made and so clear to go down.

  1. This is a great dream, and a lot of classic symbolism here. Before I give you my opinion, I want to say that dreams are completely personal and ultimately only you can know what the dream felt like it meant to you. Here are some of the symbols:

    mountain = work or obstacle

    no path = uncertainty of direction in life or lack of goals/purpose (also the going in circles)

    cell phone = symbol of career or desire for connection with another person/s

    the sky turned very blue, like your awareness is becoming tuned to it or symbol of an spiritual or mental epiphany

    huge lake=deep, abiding, peaceful love based on trust and strong feelings of committment

    clear, man-made path appears after discovering 'love'

    My analysis:  It sounds to me like you may be realizing some re-prioritizations on what is important to you in your life. Maybe a desire to spend more time with family or a drive to marry or start a family. Either you want to find true love or you have it and want to move it to the next level of relationship. If you have a family, maybe you want to spend more time with them and less being distracted by worldly concerns.

  2. Sounds like life. Well, you were lost, going in circles. ¿Kinda self-explanatory, isn't it? Going uphill: rather proverbial. No path: you had to make your own way. It was a beautiful mountain: being lost and going in circles wasn't a disagreeable experience. Talking to your friend the whole time: sounds like he's been good for you.

    Talking to your ex's parents: ¿good or bad? you don't say in the dream context.

    ¿You spoke to your daughter on the phone? She was captured and you couldn't find her on the path. ¿When did the path appear in the dream? Well, I think the daughter part is also self-explanatory. I hope you find each other.

    In the end you reached your summit and a clear path.

    I kinda get the feeling that this stayed with you because of it's clarity; that you know what it means. It sounds like a dreamed epiphany.

  3. It sounds like you are confused about something or someone and it has brought you many problems. Because if you would have put the phone down, you would have been able to find your way much quicker. The phone was holding you back and caused you to become destracted from your daughter. You should focus on raising your daughter bacause your love for your daugther will lead you to the right path. She is the one who led you to find the beautiful blue sky and water. If you focus on building a relationship with someone besides your daughter, you will be lost again.
