I liked this guy who was in my class at my old school. he liked my best friend. I had to move, but before i did, he asked me if my best friend liked him, i asked her and she replied that she did not. I then told him that i liked him, over email at our school.

He said whoa!! and i didnt talk to him much after that. Just a few days ago, i found him on myspace and struck up a convo.

I added him on myspace after I moved. He wrote to me first, and then I replied.

he didnt write to me for a while and then a couple of days ago he wrote to me on fracebook and asked me if i had a boyfriend. He then preceded to tell me that he hasnt had a girlfriend in a while and then he logged off.

What exactly does this mean?

Does he want to ask me out or was he just curious?

  1. He's probably just curious.  He was surprised about your feelings for him and is thinking it might be better to have you around sometimes and since you don't go to the same school, he can basically do what he wants when you two are apart.

I was once in your position except for the moving part.  My friend didn't like him back, he liked her, I liked him.  I told him I liked him.  After a few weeks we started dating.  After a long while, I was away for a week or so, and when I got back, my friend told me he'd asked her to come spend the weekend with him...

It's best if you find someone who's interested in YOU.  I know you like this guy, but men are practical, and he might just use you to pass the time until he can get someone else.  You're at a new school, maybe you'll meet someone better?

    Good luck!

  2. Sounds like he might like you but is to shy to actually come right out and tell you that he does. It is always easier to have someone else do it for you, like he did when he asked you to ask your friend. I would put money down that he likes you but it just to shy.
