On the front cover of Alright, Still, on the top left corner you can see an enormous lion wearing a crown. Does this mean that Lily does not favor the Queen, as if she's saying that she is like a lion?

Here is a picture to the cover artwork: http://musicmedia.ign.com/music/image/article/758/758020/alright-still-20070123060915792-000.jpg

  1. The Lion is the emblem of England and are recurring symbols in the coat of arms of royalty and chivalry. However, particularly in the UK, the lion is also a national symbol of the British people. Traditionally lions symbolizes bravery, valour, strength, royalty, and was regarded as the king of beasts. The royal symbolism of the lion was taken up repeatedly throughout its history, in order to claim power, for example by Henry the Lion.

  2. The Lion wearing a crown is a traditional symbol of the monarchy. It appears on the ten pence piece.

  3. It's just pop-art. I guess it was just stuff she liked so she put it on her cover. It probably meant nothing.

But if it did mean something it could have been,

    GOOD:

Lily thinks the queen is powerful, nobel, brave ect. like a lion

    BAD:

Lily thinks the queen is mean, ferocious and has a beard.
