  1. This is one of the most common shared dreams. Just about everyone has had it.  And yes it is scary.  The other common dream is your running from something, (most of the time you can't remember what you where running from), and your feet are like too slow or like running in deep mud. Most people have them.

Hope this helps you sleep a little better.

I hate the naked dream the most.

  2. it means  no more coffee after 4pm steph;)

  3. If these dreams happen early in the night, like less than an hour from falling asleep, then you might be experiencing a number of things. Sleep paralysis can take a number of forms, despite its name, the mind often times hallucinates movement of the body. The majority of people who experience these have terrifying experiencing. A lot of people feel the sheets sliding across the bed as if someone is pulling them off. However, you might interpet that as you falling off the bed, in which case your mind would make it real in the hallucination.

It might also be a lucid dream, in which your living out your fears.

In either case it could be caused by stress. Relaxation techniques before bed would be beneficial.

Try enrolling in Tai Chi, Yoga, or some other physical activity that will help you learn to relax.

  4. You are scared of failure in a certain situation which is currently occurring in your waking life. Your dream is trying to tell you that if you fail, it's only a short fall from grace. Be glad your not falling off a cliff, otherwise it's a looong fall down - get my drift?

  5. Falling sensations are signs you are looking for an exit, maybe from job, relationship, ???  Hold onto your heart.

  6. From what I've read it means in your real everyday life you feel out of control but don't realize it.  In your dreams your subconscious mind acts it out in that way.

  7. when you wake up are you almost falling off the bed? do you have a fear of falling off of the bed? if so try and forget about it before you go to bed and just say to yourself "oh well....if i fall off i fall off". see if that helps. just dont take any pills for it. i used to do that i class and would wake up as if in the middle of falling. kinda embarassing when your just sitting there and all of a sudden try and catch yourself when your sitting down.

  8. Try Dream Interpretation in the Social Science section.Nightmares are not paranormal they are psychological.

  9. Could your actual 'real' bed be too small for you and your partner? If you know it and it emerges from the sub-conscious in dreams, that  might answer the 'falling out of bed' dream.

  10. Lay off the pizza before bedtime.

  11. Those dreams are scary but they are usually assoicated with anxiety in ones life.  Just day to day stress...

  12. this sounds kind of like a lucid dream.  Here is a link that might help you answer more questions.  Lucid dreams are the worst.  I had the same one for a long time but eventually it went away.  I am sure yours will too.

  13. Hi,  I hate to ask this, but have you ever seen a UFO? I asked because the same thing happened to me and almost every night. It was like my arms and legs were strapped to the bed,and the bed would start to move slowly like it was going to flip over. There was a really loud whistling or siren with mine too. Only a couple of months ago did I put two and two together. These dreams started happening only after seeing a true flying saucer .I wasn't the only one who saw it either. My two sisters and my brother was also there to see it. Heck how could we miss seeing it,the thing stopped and hovered above our heads for about five minutes! And it had the exact same whistle or siren sound! I wonder if maybe we where abducted, and never knew it? How about you?

  14. Occasionally, when we sleep, our astral body takes a trip.  This is the classic out of body experience.  You can have them while awake too, but they're more common while sleeping.

The falling sensation you get is the return of the traveling part.  It's dropping back in.
