However, the date is July 23rd. That was 5 weeks ago. If he is still in jail there must be something else pending that does not show up on the system yet.

it says his case was dismissed and he wasn't fined or anything...so either someone screwed up putting it online or your friend should be walking/sitting around somewhere....
