What does this mean? im a little confused on if it means you cant work here until your 17?

You must be at least 17 years old to apply at Buckle retail locations. To apply at the Buckle distribution center or corporate office you must be at least 16 years old.

Its the retail i think i want to work, where you sell the clothes, but why would you have to be younger to work somewhere else?

I would take the statements at face value.  You need to be 17 for a retail store but you can be 16 at corporate or distribution.  As for the reason it could just be an oversight or perhaps they prefer that you be at least 17 before you deal directly with customers or handle money.  It may have something to do with insurance and loss prevention at the retail stores.  It's really hard to tell.

Since you want to work at a retail store, just give them a call and ask them the age requirement and if they are accepting applications.
