What does this quote mean "injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." i need help to know what this quote means.

  1. Whenever injustice exists,  it will threaten everyone else's life.   .  We cannot safely exist with injustice going on.  This will just spread it not corrected.


  2. This means that to say "It's none of my business," just isn't going to cut it.

    For example, we may feel that here in the USA that we have "justice."  People have due process before they can be thrown in jail, they are entitled to a fair trial, etc.

    So if there is injustice in some third world country, some might say, "Well that doesn't affect me."

    However, the person making the quote is saying, "Yes, it does affect you.  That injustice can spread to here.  It is a threat to us.  The people running that country might get so strong that they take over our country and then put their system of injustice on us, and overthrow our system of justice."

    It's really a valid point.
