I was walking across my street the other day, and there were these gardeners, and they whistled and went woo! when i walked by, what is that supposed to mean, i don't think they were pervs, because I'm only 12.

They wanted your attention, for whatever reason. It could have been that they didn't know English and saw you drop something.

In any case, it's 'the other day' you're talking about here.

Girl to girl here:  It wasn't innocent and it wasn't flattering and especially because you're so young, you should tell your parents about the incident.  It's always best to avoid contact with idiots like that.
