What does this mean when i call?

i am trying to join a web site by phone and i am trying to call a 900 number but it says your call cannot be completed with the access code you dialed please check the code again or call your long distance company for assistance. does this mean there is a block on my line for calling 900 numbers? cuz i can call long distance but for some reason i cant call this 900 number

Sounds like there is a block on the 900 numbers.

It wont be a problem with your line,

since you are able to do long distance you can also make 800 or 900 numbers , more over these are toll free numbers

the problem would be on the toll free number , because most of the toll frees have limited coverage eg the whole of US and canada or the whole of US alone or a state in US alone and if that particular company has limited coverage and you are calling from an area thats not under their coverage you will have this problem.
