  1. Treatable stage of colon cancer arising from a polyp. You need immediate surgery to remove the area around the tumor, probably an exam of nearby lymph nodes and followup treatment with 5FU chemo or something similar. If none or only a few lymph nodes are found to be involved this is a highly treatable and survivable situation if you have a good Dr and are willing to follow his treatment plan carefully.

My next Dr neighbor had stage 3 colon cancer (worse) and did proper treatment was in remission for over 5 years (lost track when when I moved off) despite her continuing to smoke cancer sticks.

    good luck

  2. Invasive (spreading) well-differentiated colonic adenocarcinoma is a low grade malignant tumor that originated in the glandular tissue of the colon and is arising from a polyp whose cells are in the most advanced stage of irregularity.

  3. an diagnosis of cancer , and probably in the colon area and it is active.

  4. It means a very small area of a polyp has a mildly aggressive cancer and the rest of the polyp has cells that are very abnormal looking, but are not yet cancer. Usually the part with cancer in it is at the head of the polyp, if this is the case in your polyp no other treatment will be needed. The path report should say the margins are clear or you can confirm with the doctor who did the colonoscopy.
