I'm filling out a job application online and there are several questions that ask you to list things. I can't figure out what they're asking on one of them. It states: What is most important to you about being accepted?

then it has a list of "values"

Does accepted mean getting the position and if so, is value an odd word to use there?

  1. I think it just means what qualities or values would you like people to think of about you,  what are you like ya know.

  2. I don't believe they are talking about the position you are applying for I think they are asking ....As a person what is most important to you about being accepted. Knowing what a person values are, whether moral or religious, helps to understand what kind of a person they are.

  3. Be careful how you answer that, employers can't ask about a person's religion when they hire people, its an issue of discrimination. In this case, the question seems to address what will you value the most from getting the job, like the money, interactions with others, etc.
