  1. Since the lion can tell how bravely he fought- the person with the upper hand is the only ones side of the story you hear.


  2. The hunter is the only one that can tell his story since the lion is clearly unable to write or talk, so until you can hear the lion's side of the story, you will only hear that the hunter was superior and never know the lion's side of the story.
