Revenge is not usable for satisfying emotions, and after taking revenge you still search a way to satisfy the emotions.

we only seek revenge because some one or somthing hurt our emotions and we want that hurt to be quenched or to go away. And If we get revenge, it does not heal our feelings, we may feel healed at first, but it may in fact make the situation worse, kind of like how drinking salt water will help at first but in the end it will only make you thirstier.
