  1. well hole in one refers to hitting the ball into the hole in one stroke when playing golf. really getting one is an accident because you are so farr away you actually aim for the flag not the hole. so man blames what happens negatively for him on his inevitable fate, yet he believes that the accident of a hole in one are his skills, so it was in his mind a personal responsibility

  2. i would geuss that it means - "humans" don't take responsibility for the bad things but will take credit for good things - hole in one is a golf term meaning the ball goes in the hole with the first hit, usually in golf it takes about 3 strokes to get it in the hole.

  3. it means man is too confident believes in himself for good thing  and a hole in one means golf when you hit a ball really far and into a little hole.

  4. Long answer:

Man will blame accidents as fate to escape the consequences of failure (blame; dejection; ridicule; loss of self-esteem as it's hard to accept responsibility over -- most accidents are caused by human error, with the stats to back it up [check any accident database]).

Man will accept responsibility for *success*, because the *consequences* (fame, praise and self-esteem) is awarded to him.

    Short answer:

Man won't accept responsibility for failure, only success.

Which is very true, as mankind is a ego driven being. He wants to only claim success, and reject and throw away failure.

The "hole-in-one" means man will accept responsibility for a rare feat of personal skill (Eagles/hole-in-one are difficult to achieve in golf) ***if*** it's successful. If he bogeys the shot, he'll usually blames the wind, grass, crowd (accident of fate).

  5. I think it's supposed to mean that we only feel bad when it's our fault, a hole-in-one being a mistake that an individual has made himself, rather than observed. For instance, if your friend drives their car into a tree, you tell them that it's okay, it was just an accident and not their fault. However, if you were to drive your own car into a tree, you would think yourself an idiot and take all the blame onto your own shoulders.

  6. its saying that man takes no responsibility when something bad happens but when something good happens (ie a hole in one(golf)) then he takes full credit
