  1. We control our own fate by our actions.  We are not predestined by "our stars", fate itself.

  2. We can`t blame faith on the position we have in life, we have to earn our place under the stars ourselves and not just wait for destiny to give us everything we want. Transferring  our fault of not achieving something  to a higher power, is not taking responsibility for our actions.

  3. We cannot blame others for our problems, for they are OUR problems

  4. It means it is the choices we make and not fate or false meaning of predetermination or predestination  and the use of our wills that decide our destiny.

  5. I think, from what I remember, that it means that we are weak in character, and we can not blame it on our destiny (the stars), but rather we have to be in control of our actions.

  6. perhaps the most help i can give you will be in translating it:

"The fact that we are not powerful is our own fault. It's not that we're destined to be like this; we could do something about it."
