  1. yeah, that's right.  Maybe he could have done something different/better.

  2. It means you take for granted the things you had, and once you lost them, you realised how important they were.

Like if you have a family member, who you didnt always appreciate, but when they're gone you realise you took them for granted and that you miss their presence.

    Something like that anyways. xx

  3. To me it means that when you have someone/something you take it/them for granted and don't appreciate it/them like you should, but when it/they leave since they're gone and you don't have it anymore you realize how much you miss it and loved it.

  4. it means that sometimes people take things for granted

like, you dont realize how much you needed it until, you saw how life was without it

example: imagine life without toilet paper

    we take it for granted

without it, what will we wipe our butts with?

    lol :p

  5. Have you ever lost something that wasn't hugely important to you, but when it's gone you get SO upset? It's like that.

  6. like you dont know what you really got till you lose it. say i have a girlfriend who does everything for me and treats me really good. but i'm a jerk and i dont care and i take her for granted.. then one day she leaves me kuz i'm a jerk and she knows she can do better. well now that she's gone.. i see how much she really cared for me and was a really good girl. so i regret it now.

soo.. i had something that was once really good but i took it for granted and now that it's gone i want it back but i can.t

  7. Yes.   He didn't appreciate what he had until he lost it.  Now he's missing it!
