  1. Jane V,

"I used to live in a room full of mirrors; all I could see was me."----> What would really happen if you lived in a room full of mirrors? Well, everything you'd see (read be able to understand) would be a reflection of yourself. You would only think of you and everything in relation to you- that is why the room reflects back to your "likeness" or self (as in selfishness). You wouldn't notice anything different and so everyone would seem just like you- nothing different or challenging. Hence: Infancy. Immaturity. Selfishness.

"I take my spirit and I crash my mirrors, now the whole world is here for me to see." If you got through the selfishness, then you would have been more apt to consider others, and see things through someone else's eyes or consider different perspectives (because it would have not longer be ONLY about you). You would have learnt that there is more to this world than what you think, want or need. Hence: Adulthood. Maturity. Selflessness.

So as I see it, these are the two main stages of a person: infancy and adulthood. Although, you know that some people only go through these two stages in the physical way :-)

    Hope it helps.

  2. My opinion is that this person was surrounded by lies (the mirrors) that he created to keep others out and maintain a status. Then when he began to break the lies the world could see him as for what he truly was.

  3. if you only think about, take care of, and love yourself you lose sight of the world around you

  4. its by jimi hendrix i take-

he was a very talented, multiracial- black and cherokee, peaceful, unique, deep, lyrical, colorful, exotic, and musical man-

his quote means- he used to only see himself- his face- his body- he was the only focus- not others- but when he stopped focusing on his outer appearance- on himself- and started to look at other things- plants- animals- people- gadgets- techonology- etc- he was able to focus on understanding how things work and how everything is interconnected- what life is about- the beauty- the flaws- all of the above-

jimi gave up his vanity- and started looking outside of himself to search for the truth-

    hope it helps- God bless-
