  1. To me it means that the ability to be humorous and yet know how absurd you are at the same time will keep you from sins and bad reactions, and don't say something you think is humorous if it is worth committing.


  2. Life is absurd.  If you have enough of a sense of humor to appreciate the absurdity in yourself, you won't take yourself so seriously.

    That cuts out a lot of the anger, the over-sensitivity, the fanatic drivenness that comes from self-criticism, etc.

    It cuts down on the compulsive behavior, but leaves the more fun 'sins' still enticing.

  3. you can keep a person from doing wrong or something if u point out their weaknesses or bad spots i guess i dont really know how to explain it.
