Question:

What does this recurring nightmare mean?

I have had the following nightmare on numerous occasions and although in black and white it does not look scary- i wake up terrified!

I am alone in a white room- i presume its a room but there are actually no walls, just a white expanse. There are rows of massive gold pins standing in front of me. They are about 30 foot high and about a foot wide. They wobble continuously. When i look down at my feet there is a pile of dirty washing and trainers at my feet- then i wake up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  1. You're anxious about something, the pins represent the problem, you''re scared of them coming crashing down. As for the washing and trainers, they probably represent your family life, are you anxious abut something in your family life? Or something happening that could affect your family life?

  2. The most painful household incident is wearing socks and stepping on an upturned plug.

  3. White room = perfection, desire, things you want in life

no walls = feeling restricted, limited in things in life, lack of freedom

rows of massive gold pins = warnings, alerts, dangers.

pile of dirty washing and trainers at  your feet =  obstacles

You may be feeling restricted and limited in some aspect of your life.  You are feeling lots of obstacles in life.  Those gold pins may suggest that you have some sort of difficulties in life that you may not able to resolve yourself.

Being in a pile of dirty washing and trainers at your my feet added the evidence that you feel lack of control and you may be disappointed about things you wish for.   That is why you vent out your feeling s in thsi dream.

  4. you want out of your present circumsstances. You know there is something greater out there, even though  you have no idea what it is, or whether you will achieve it.  You will, go for it. you don't get many chances in life and some you only ever get once,so grab them while you can, regardless of the feathers it ruffles and the thihgs people will  say. Your life, your time.

  5. You should read The Dream Game by Ann Faraday, it can teach you to easily understand your own dreams. It's not wise to depend on the interpretations of others since they aren't you and your dreams depend solely on how you perceive things.
