  1. Things change as your perception of things change.  We understand things from one perspective but as we move along and learn more, our perspective changes.  

    A pilgrim is someone new, on an adventure, discovering new lands.  So, since we can continually change our view of things by finding new discoveries, we are always on the edge of perception (the edge betwee "what I thought before" and "how I think/see now")
