On my spanish homework, the directions say: "Contesa en espanol"

What does that mean..??

I looked up contesa but it says that doesn't exist!~

  4. contesa doesn´t exist.  See, the problem with online dictionaries is that if you mistype (or the book has a typo) then you can't find the correct translation...Computers are VERY anal that way!  

    If you were to get an old-fashioned dictionary, you would be more likely to catch the misspelling (though that's not infallible, either).

    You should have typed in CONTESTA.  You should then have gotten either he/she/You answer or the command form: answer...which is the answer to your question...the command form answer...as others have already put up.
