Albert Einstein, in a speech at the California Institute of Technology in February 1931, said:

"Concern for a man and his fate must always forn the chief interest of all technical endeavors... in order that the creations of our mind shall be a blessing and not a curse to mankind."

  1. I assume this means putting other people first ahead of any technology made. Maybe an example could be making something that could hurt people instead of helping them, so he's saying let's making things that help people.

  2. I think it's basically saying that the main purpose of technology should be to help man, so that these ideas from our mind help us rather than lead us to failure.

  3. All technology should be based upon man's well being, and furthering it instead of wreaking havok.

    The a-bomb is not a good example of this ideal.

  4. To put ii simply:  Care about our future as mankind and that all technology should be used for Good, and not to eradicate us from the Earth.
