I'm in a play and that's one of lines but it got crossed out cuz apparently it's innapropriate? what's does it mean?

When you are on a bus and you get to your destination, you get off the bus.  This is what getting off the bus means.

Getting ON the bus is the act of getting on the bus, opposite of getting off.
