  1. Toll free means it is cost free. You will not be charged if you make a call with a toll free number.

  2. If you are outside the USA and call one of our toll free numbers, it probably won't even work.  An ongoing complaint of people outside USA is against companies who only publish 800 numbers that international callers can't use.  

      In the US, the caller pays for all long distance calls except those to specific area codes like 800, 888, 887, 886 all called 800 calls because it was the first.  Those calls are free to the caller, but have always revealed the callers phone number.

      If you have a service that can call into the US and THEN dial another number, then you will pay for the first call but not for the second.

  3. Most toll free number will only be available from a local number but some special ones from multinational companies might be toll free from anywhere in the world.
