state of origin is better than any world cup final or GF. The only thing that will ruin it are kiwis or other states wanting in on it. After all what does a kiwi understand about growing up in QLD?

Nothing, not a thing, but i have never missed a state of origin match, you're right it is an Aussie Rules concept but the league bys have really made it work, having only the two states makes it easier to achieve than Vic, S.A,

W.A, TAS AND N.T, bit harder to organise and players were faking injuries, it would be an honor for any players to play for their states, but some blokes get pressured by clubs not to play i guess.

Sweet F@#k all unless you are from Queensland or N.S.W,i'll watch it on t.v because i love nearly all sport but it means nothing to me- its just another concept the rugby boys took from the AFL but hey when basically only 2 states play it you need some publicity.
