  1. to get ejected from the game

  2. tossed means your headed for the showers (ejected from the game). you could get thrown out of the game for arguing balls and strikes like mike lowell did last night or arguing if your safe or not on a close play at the bag or home or even for fighting. there is a lot of things that can get u tossed out of a game.

    Have a great day! :)

  3. ejected from the game thrown out. it means he cant play in one game.

and he has to pay a fine ususally.

  4. Tossed means you get ejected from the game.

  5. ejected..........thrown out..................tossed out.

  6. The term "tossed" means exactly what it says. The player or manager is being "tossed" out of the game and they cant come back for the remainder of the game.

They are ejected by the umpire and have to spend the rest of the game in the clubhouse.

  7. forget what everybody has told you (about getting tossed) . The REAL definition of "getting tossed" is much like a salad getting tossed. See, you have a batter, (we'll say it's coco "crisp") and the catcher will say to the pitcher "lettuce pitch this guy carefully" and "bowl" him over with some "cheese"...he's such a "ham" and thinks like a "crouton", so just throw the "pea" over the "plate". If the batter agrues with the umpire, he (the batter) may get a "dressing" down by the umpire. And then once the hitter gets REALLY mad, then he will be tossed, like lowell did last night (even though the pitch was a ball). Getting "tossed" too many times and a player will find his "salad" days will soon be over...

  8. Thrown out of the ballgame.

  9. When umpire throws you out of a game. Didn't see last night Yankee win so don't know what happened to Mike Lowell. Usual reason person gets toss thrown out or rejected from game, all the same thing,: arguing balls and strike calls at plate, saying one of seven no no words on TV to umpire, touching umpire, throwing equipment onto the field, pitcher can get tossed after warning for throwing inside, and think manager goes with player when last reason given happens.

  10. It means that they have been thrown out, or ejected, from the baseball game. Mike Lowell blew up when the umpire called him out on strikes for the second time, because the ball was not even close to the plate.  If a guy argues with the umpire for too long, or gets too nasty with him, the umpire will send him out of the game and into the team's clubhouse. Same thing happens if a guy throws a bat or a helmet after getting out.  The umpire can eject him immediately.

  11. "tossed" means thrown out (ejected).

  12. to get thrown out of the game.  To do something wrong and the umpires eject u.  hope this helps

  13. "tossed", means that they have been thrown out, or ejected from the game.  Mike Lowell was ejected for arguing balls and strikes last nights

  14. Thrown out of the game,. Prevented from continuing to play for the remainder of the game.

  15. When you say the magic word or words you get tossed or ejected from the game.

  16. thrown out
