Question:

What does up to £35K OTE uncapped earnings mean?

I see this kind of statement a lot, is it not a contridiction. Surley £35K is the cap.

Can anyone explain.

  1. no this is usually for a sales job.

    example you get a basic wage of £18k and they say you can

    earn up to 38k - this maybe an average or the topsellers wage. if you are really good your earnings are not capped

    so in theory you could earn £50k.

    however don't be afraid to ask for statistics- as to how much

    most people earn and to see them in writing.

    you may of course earn a lot less
