Ground shipping means that the package goes by truck. That takes longer than by plane for long distances. It is not good or bad. It all depends on how fast you want something. You can pay to get it overnight or you can buy items on Amazon that qualify for free shipping that takes 2 weeks.

UPS does a good job with parcels (thats what the P stands for). If the item is over 80 lbs you should use a freight company. I have used Alliance Air Freight  www.shipalliance.com several times they were great. Yes the ship by ground or air.

It means that UPs will drive it on trucks to its destination instead of using plans, trains etc. Its cheaper shipping but takes longer.

It just means it will be delivered from teucks and they don't fly it, so it may take a couple of days longer, I have received ground shipping in two days from Adidas because i lived 1 state over from there warehouse, so the closer you live to the place it was dhipped from , the sooner you will actually get it/
