In some context, waiting for a woman means waiting for her to show up after one and half hour because she is busy applying her makeup, or waiting for the right woman before you have s*x, which can also be referred to as “saving yourself” for the right woman.

In relationships, waiting for a woman means you either are trying all your best to love her and she’s not loving you back so you decide to wait till she realizes she loves you too, or simply waiting for a woman that left, hoping that she will return, one day.

If you are referring to waiting for a woman, in a public space or whatever, it just simply means that you should wait LOL.  Alternatively, wait until she is ready to do something you are already ready for....
