  1. Water conditioner does not hurt fish in any way unless you use too much of it and overdose.

    Water conditioner should be used at every water change in order to remove the harmful chemical, cholrine, from tap water which can harm or even kill your betta.


  2. water conditioner does nothing to fish it only does something to the fish's water.....It is used to remove the chlorine and other harmful chemicals to the water which is why it is so important to use when you have fish. It has never been found to hurt or stunt a fish.

  4. I use water conditioners and have a betta in my tank and have never had any problems.  Just be sure to follow the directions for your aquarium size.
