  1. What it sounds like to me: Static on tv. The blowing sound of a machine like an air purifier or humidifier. Constant wind whooshing through the leaves of lots of trees. Water continuously falling down a waterfall. Sssshhhh...

Technically it's a scientific term for the signal that generates a certain sound that can cancel, mask, or filter other types of sound.

  2. go to a no signal channel, you know...the fuzzy white ones and just have that on, no other sounds and listen.

Its like a loud ringing that just kills your ears

  3. Like this...

    'OIGSNJ....OM....WIRTOIWB4OIBTI..........

    ...Something like that.

  4. I dunno......always wondered.

  5. It is like when your tv has nothing on it ...just the static.

  6. It sounds like static but it is also the term used when someone puts a secret message or a creepy message if played backwards in an audio/video file

  7. White noise is like a subdued static; not loud enough to be annoying, and without stimulus to trigger a thought. Such pacifies your mind, and retards it from going off on a tangent into deep thoughts. It also has the capacity to camouflage the annoyance of tinnitus (ringing in the ear).

  8. KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...

  9. its like static and it's annoying especially when the voices come on the say

    help me..

    Or

    I'll swallow your soul.

I just shut the tv off.
