  1. Well lets see.  My oldest is a boy and he is 6 years old and unfortunatly 80 lbs now thanks to some medication his Dr put him on :-( but he is the health nut of the family.  He loves to snack on veggies all day and likes yogurt with some fruit mixed in it (sometimes he just prefers plain though).  He is picky about his meats and will only eat stuff that is lean like lean hamburger (least amount of fat) and chicken or turkey.  He loves his milk and he drinks skim milk but he also loves his water and has some juice but only once a day . His favorite juice is V8 Splash.

My 3 1/2 year old son is 31 lbs and he hates to really eat but when he does he likes his veggies, chicken, lean hamburger patty (without bread), yogurt and fruit, cheese.  He isn't big on milk but he will drink one glass a day but he LOVES his water so that is what he is usually busy asking for.

  3. Female, 17, weighs 66 lbs

She eats two bites of a pop tart in the morning. In the afternoon she doesn't eat lunch. For dinner she only eats 5 bites of whatever we cook (we have to argue to get her to eat the 5 bites though). She drinks water and juice. It usually takes her all day to drink one cup of juice or water. She has autism.

  4. I have 3 kids & they are all pretty solid. I'll tell you what I don't give them. I don't give the soda regularly. When they do get 7up or root-beer the three get 6 oz. They do not eat junk food. 1 small bag of Skittles between the 3 of them (I get most the red ones :)

They don't eat a lot of meat, we eat a lot of fruits & veggies. Their Christmas stockings/ Easter baskets always comes w/ new tooth brushes, oranges w/ other little nick knacks.

I know...I'm so mean! They do get (junk) snacks here but nothing out of control :)

  6. I only buy organic foods.  I'm also a vegan, so although my although my son is an omnivore like my husband, he'll also happily eat an animal - free meal.  One of his favorite breakfasts lately is chicken and broccoli.  However, I'll give you the rundown of what he had today:

Breakfast: 1 vegetarian breakfast burrito (about 1 oz scrambled tofu made with olive oil, shredded carrots, 2 tablespoons of salsa, and 1 oz. cheddar - style soy cheese in a whole - wheat tortilla), apple slices, and milk

Mid - morning snack: 1 cup of cubed watermelon, 1/2 a cup of raw carrots, and some whole - wheat crackers with a cup of water

Lunch: chicken and broccoli, about three California rolls (sushi made with Japanese sticky rice, avocado, and nori), 1/2 cup of fresh pineapple, and milk

Afternoon snack: mini pitas with hummus, celery filled with cottage cheese, and water

Dinner: Alphabet pasta (Trader Joe's has a great kind that is multicolored, as it's made with spinach and tomato - my son loves it!) with sauce (tomato with ground turkey), parmesan cheese, spinach salad, and water; soy pudding for dessert

Bedtime snack: 1 cup of milk, half a piece of bread with almond butter
