I have never really thought of getting married so I don't even know if I'll ever have a wedding! But if I really do get married I would like it to be glamorous, very very Alice in Wonderland like; full of surprises.

What about you? what do you want your wedding to be like? traditional? exciting? exotic? fantasy-like? Details details!

  1. on a yatch : http://www.accentcruises.ca/

small one family and close friends

butterfly theme for cake and decorations

  2. I tend to be more of the romantic type yet still upbeatand fun. However, my beau is more like "whatever." (but what man isn't?) Nevertheless, i would love to have either a beach wedding, a vineyard wedding or a garden wedding that is very unique yet not overwhelming. I would have my favorite flowers as my bouquet (yellow tulips and purple petunias). We would have about 100-150 guests and after the ceremony, we would make our way into a FABULOUS grand hotel for some all night partying!!

    That was fun :D

  3. On a beautigul clean sea green ocean beach (much like the island I am from) with live steel pan music inthe background and lots and lots of tropical coloured flowers and a huge sand sculpture!!!  I would want all of our available friends and family there (so the guest list would be like 250 people).

Also for the reception, I wold want a mimi concert where there is africandancing with drums and fire sticks twirling....other creative dancing, and maybe a magician to do tricks.  I would want incredible lighting and maybe a short segment like a mini musical like they do in the Lion King ones...really short but exciting to see with a theme on the joys of overcoming marrital problems.  Like I said I would love to have like a mini concert(and play, i guess).  All of this would be incredible at the top of a 8-10 story building with a banquet hall the over looks the vast beach on the west cost so we can see the beautiful sunset as the reception festivities go on.  I would finally love a very stylish and tasteful carpet that actually matched my colors (orange, yellow/gold and and burgandy/brown); and a lovely chandelier.

And for my fiance' he wants to have interactive touch screen tables to show our wedding pics that were just taken at the beach; a digital picture frame also to show his love for technology; fireworks; and to be taken away in a helicoptor.  Those would be cool!!!

  4. Your vision sounds fantastic!

My vision is pretty simple: My fiance' and me exchanging vows in the presence of our family and friends. Everything else is superfluous.

My fiance' and I have planned an English Garden (think Pride & Prejudice--Keira Knightley version) wedding, but don't let the theme name fool you! We're not being strict with the theme, and instead we're adding a lot of personalized touches to reflect our personalities and heritage, so it's definitely more offbeat than traditional. Our bywords are elegant, beautiful, and unique, and we're accomplishing that without breaking the bank. We have 200 people invited, and a 15 person wedding party with a $5,000. We've chosen kiwi, pale pink, white, and silver for colors =]
