What dog is compatitble to a sun conure?

We've had our pet sun conure for 6 years. She always been the only pet in our house. Now we're thinking of getting a dog. Is there a specific breed of dog that is more likely to get along with her?

I have a sun conure and a dog. We had a standard poodle which got along with the bird.

Now we have a toy poodle who gets along with the bird too. Java also likes to preen his hair. :0

Part of  the reason I think poodles get along is because they are so attached to their owners and are very smart. If you tell him to stay away from your bird, he will catch on pretty quickly.

Poodles are great companion dogs and they do not shed. :)
