  1. i have your answer.  you are looking for a breed in the list below:

    -welsh terrier (medium)

    -irish terrier (medium)

    -lakeland terrier (medium)

    -airedale terrier (large)

    -border terrier (small)

these dogs dont shed and will be amazing with 3/4 hour walk!!wow!!! thats alot (in a good way) but then theses dogs will be ready for a nape! LOL

    Any way hope this helps!!

  2. All dogs shed as a natural event, but some do it less than others. A poodle hybrid doesn't seem like a good idea for your situation, since if it's a pure poodle, it'll be big, and probably hard to handle. Cocker spaniels shed a lot more than most think, and so I'd say you would be better off with one of these dogs, as most of them shed very little.

    Shih Tzu

    Yorkshire Terrier

    Maltese West Highland

    White Terrier

    Dachshund (moderate shedders)

    Bichon Frise

    Miniature Poodle

    Italian Greyhound

    Border Terrier

    Cairn Terrier

    Havanese

    Miniature Schnauzer

    Norfolk Terrier

    Silky Terrier

    Welsh Terrier

    Boston Terrier

    Scottish Terrier

    Chinese Crested

    Australian Terrier

Look up some of those dogs, maybe? You should be able to find one that doesn't require much exercise and fits your situation best with little research.

  3. I wouldn't recommend going out and buying a hybrid dog. It's a scam for your money. There are some really crooked breeders out there. But if you happen to stumble across one in a shelter, adopt it!

I'd highly recommend you take a trip to a shelter and get a smallish dog. But if you are willing to pay the money for a purebred, get a Toy or Miniature Poodle (watch out for people who sell 'teacups' that's another popular scam), a Tibetan Spaniel, a Clumber Spaniel, or a King Charles Spaniel.

They don't require too much exercise. Poodles don't shed (the fur that falls out gets trapped in the rest of their fur) but they do need a good brushing and tons of grooming. You should get one of those dog breed books that outline different breeds needs. It will be easier to find one that suits you.

  4. There are quite a few breeds of dogs that don't shed.  Unfortunatelyy, cocker spanials aren't one of them.  Go online and search dog breed matchmaker.  There are lots of quizzes that will tell you which breeds might work for you.

My dog is a Cairn Terrier, like Toto in the Wizard of Oz, and I love her!  She is hypoallergenic, meaning she doesn't shed much and doesn't create the oils that humans are allergic to.

  5. TERRIERS ARE VERY HYPER DOGS .....THEY NEED EXERCISE .... GO TO THE CLOSEST SPCA/POUND ... AND SAVE A PERFECTLY HEALTH PURE BREED THERE ..... AND THEY ALL COME W/ SHOTS AND MICROCHIPPED ... SO U WONT LOOSE EM

  6. Aye Chi-huahua!

  7. Poodles don't leave hair, but they are very active and get get very big (so they will need more walking probably).

Cocker Spaniels shed and they were know to be bred for hunting dogs in the past and are still very active.

I think you should get a Maltese because they don't shed, are hypo-allergenic, and are smaller than poodles with less energy (usually).

You should think about going to an animal shelter nearby or online to look for dogs (kijiji.com or petfinder.com). But remember to go visit the dog before getting it to make sure you like it's personality. Also do research on dogbreddinginfo.com to look at the usual personality of each breed. However, if you get a puppy, you can train it early so you know that you like its attitude.

    Hope this helps! :D

  8. Best way of getting a dog is shelter, newspaper, craigslist, and petfinder.com
