My family and I bought some property out in the country. Well not the real country with about 100 acres, we have about 8 acres but lots and lots of woods not just our property. Anyway we are gonna build a house if everything goes right and move in the summer when schools out. And we will prob get another dog, right now we have a mini shnauzer and my mom wants another golden retriever, because we had one and she was a great dog until she got out of our gate and we didnt see her again, i know its kinda early but does anybody have some other suggestions, we have 9 siblings but two are in college,

any other good dogs.

Thanks

  1. How about a German Shepard. They are very playful and Understandable.

  2. A golden retriever is good. I have a german shepard and he absolutely loves to run we have at least an acre, but he loves it.

They're disciplined, loyal, and friendly if you train them.

  3. German sheppard or lab

  4. I have a golden retriever and two beagles. We have invisible fencing for our dogs and it works great. I wouldn't suggest a beagle. Their noses work great, a little too great, actually. Without the invisible fencing, they'll wonder off, corner an animal and sit and howl at it for hours. All night sometimes. It's very annoying and fustrating! But they do have a great nose to get them home again. Our golden has never been outside the fencing except if I take her to the vet or w us somewhere. My aunt and uncle have a golden and she stays right around their house and doesn't wander off at all.

I had a black lab growing up. He was a great dog. chocolate labs are beautiful! Labs are great w kids, too.

I also had a german shepard growing up. He was a very protective dog w us. Never bit anyone. He was a great dog, too.

  5. golden retreiver would be a good choice, also australian shepherds or border collies make great pets.  Don't forget about mixed breeds too, you can find some great ones out there.  :)

  6. I would suggest a working class dog, they do really good with a lot of space! Go to your local shelter and take a look around!

  7. Golden retriever is perfect also german sheppard, Australian Sheppard, boxer, great dane, and labs are all wondeful breeds that would love the extra space to run and play

This is a quiz that will help you!

  9. Get a yellow tang

  10. get a pet from your local pet shelter. rescuing a pet is never a bad idea and mutts most often make the best dogs! good luck!

  11. Goldies a real good choice, they are so sweet and fun and playful.  Labs are good but recently a person had a story up here about a lab that attacked his dog so maybe there are some problems with aggression sometimes.  It would be hard to go wrong with a goldie.

  12. Any dog can be a great dog aslong as it is brought up correctly.  I have two staffordshire bull terrior pups who, over here in the UK are known for being the most vicious dogs of them all but I absolutely adore them and we have brought them up correctly so that they are little angels (so far!).

  13. go with your mom goldie is great labs are nice too

  14. u should definitely get a boxer.

they are so playful and their not really big so they dont eat as much as like a greatdane or p**p as much.

if an inside dog u should get a shitzu kus they are cute and very loving

    hope i helped you

  15. german shepherds are great

they learn fast, they´re disciplined, loyal, they´ll protect your house, and they love kids

    plus they´re so adorable :p

  16. Well of course I'm going to say poodle, that is what I have! If you want an inside dog poodles are non hypo-allergenic! Maybe a border collie, great country dogs. Labs or golden retrievers are great too! You can train your dogs so that they won't run away, not that they'd have anyplace especially to run way out in the country! ;P And it's never to early to start thinking about dogs! Cangrats about moving to the country!

  17. Any dog you like. If the snauzer is male dont get another male.it might be a good idea also to take your snauzer with you to the breeders and see how they get on before you buy the dog.Hope you get a cutey lol!!!

    xx

  18. i have a lab but i would probably suggest a labradoodle, first off because its a pretty cool mixed breed and you dont have to worry about it shedding  because they dont and they're soooo cute.

P.S just in case you didnt know its a lab and a poodle

  19. You should really look into saving an adult dogs life at the local shelter, check at this site it brings tears to my eyes..Please don't buy from a breeder we are just encouraging them to breed more puppies when there are so many unwanted ones waiting at the shelter for the right person to come save them
