What dose it mean when my rabbits kick when they run?

whenever I take my rabbits out they like to run around but sometimes it looks like they are kicking

Whenever rabbits are happy, they like their owner, etc., they do that little kick-jump-dance thingy to show it.

mine does this once I let him out of his cage in the morning. Is he stretching his legs out? I'm not sure exactly what it means..but I agree with the first answer, they must be happy! He isn't mad..and that leaping in the air thing seems very high energy and happy!
