Chemistry includes a lot of physics.  And SCUBA diving is all about gas physics.  Start with Boyle's Law and go from there.

Also, diving focuses on gas partial pressures, rates of solution, and surface tension physics of bubbles suspended in viscous fluid (blood).

Not much in the way of chemical reactions show up in recreational diving.  However, get into closed-circuit rebreathers and things get interesting.  The CO2 scrubbing canisters use a very interesting catalytic reaction.
