  1. think you are moving through a bus at speed of ' v ' . but to you your speed is 0 as you are stationary to you but  it is counted as v to him who is stationary to the surroundings  . when you will through anything at a speed of  v it will be just v for you but twice v for the person who is stationary to the surroundings . all that is relative

  2. Since everything in the ship is traveling the speed of light (SOL) it would all be relative.   Everything in the ship is traveling at the same relative speed including the photons and electrons so I would expect light to work the same way inside the ship no matter what speed you travel.

Think about riding in a car and tossing a ball straight up. As long as the car is traveling at a constant speed with the ball is in the air the ball will come straight down.

Doppler shift causes an apparent change in frequency and is easily demonstrated with sound.  A car sounding its horn as it passes you (standing on the road side) has a higher pitch as it approached and a lower one  as it travels away from you.   To the person in the car the horn sounds the same.    Light also has a doppler shift as can be seen by color shift in stars. Using the color shift astronomers can determine if a star is moving towards or away from earth.

So why wouldn't light act the same way in your space ship?   Looking out side the ship to the front or rear you would see doppler shifted light (if you could see these frequencies)   and to the sides of the ship there would be little if any apparent motion so light would look the same .   Meanwhile light within your ship would look normal to you.

  3. If you turn on your lights then id assume they were travelling with you.  In which case you'd notice no difference as everything would be at the same speed!

If they werent travelling with you and you somehow managed to switch a light on travelling at the speed of light you wouldnt see anything because youd be travelling at the speed of light away from the light.  So nothing..

  4. I think you mean "if you're going....".

  5. The mass of the Sun is 1.988 × 10^30 kg.

  6. Light is a wavelength not a speeding object. I know what you mean but for something to travel double its speed by being on something which is traveling at the same speed as it has to be traveling on a surface. Now to travel at the speed of light you cant be on a surface and the light you cast certainly wont also. Light is a wave you see a wave which travels through space time and not surfaces so where ever you cast light it will always be traveling at one speed which is the speed of light.

PS nothing except waves can travel at the speed of light basically you have to be invisible to do so.

  7. What does "dose" mean?
