Although i'd warn you that your son is likely to have his name shortened to JJ by his peers when he gets into school. If you're okay with that then i say go for it.

Millie Grace is beautiful. Joshua Joseph would go equally well, but Joshua Joe is adorable.

Millie is a nickname, call her Amelia(ah-mee-lee-uh) or Amelie (am-eh-lee) as a full first name.

Millie Grace is wonderful

Joshua Joe- don't care for names with matching initials, so would use a different middle name (or go with the more formal Joseph if you really wanted to).  Joe as a middle name is kind of "hill billy" to me.

For Millie Grace, I would prefer a more formal first name such as

Melissa, Emillie, Matilda...

I like that they don't match.  My only concern is that Millie should have a full name she can use if she wants to, such as Millicent.  As she grows up, there will be times when Millie may seem too child-like.

Josh and Millie... sounds darling. It's definitely best to give your twins names that aren't too matchy. And I think Joshua and Millie are both really cute and really timeless. They both have two-syllable names and one-syllable middle names. I think that's a nice touch. Excellent choices.

I personally think Millie is just fine on its own as it's been used for a century that way. But if you want to consider a longer name and a shorten it to Millie, here are some possibilities:

Amelia (nn Millie)

Camilla (nn Millie)

Melissa (nn Millie)

Mildred (nn Millie)

Millicent (nn Millie)

Camilla Grace sounds beautiful and it goes well with Joshua too.

joshua is great but not with joe,  maybe joseph but still two j's just doesnt sound that great,  millie grace is pretty but what about amelia as a full name then call her mille for short.

I do not like Millie.  It sounds like the little old lady working at the cafeteria at school.  I have always loved the name Grace.  Joshua is good and Joe is ok, but together it is kind of strange to me.
