What draft position should I choose for fantasy football?

Available drafting positions are 1 6 7 8 9 and 10...you gotta understand if i take 1 then i get last pick 2nd round and then first pick then last pick and so on...so i was thinking either 6 and then i would get 5...or 7 and then i would get 4....basically deciding between 1, 6, and 7....need opinions asap thanks :]

Take the 5th pick, and this is why. Some idiot will probably take Brady or Moss in the top 4, then you will get a top 4 back. There are 5 good backs out there imo. LT, AP, Jackson, Addai, and Westbrook. Any one of these guys could lead the league in scoring if everything fell into place for them. This way you might get a decent 2nd RB, or a top WR with your 2nd pick. (TO, Wayne)

It is typically randomly choosen.   I like 6 or 7 if you can request a choice.  

If it is a live draft, you do not have to wait as long to draft and you always get a pick in the middle of a round.

If there's one player in particular (LT, Steven Jackson, Peterson) that you want, then definitely go #1. Otherwise, go 7. That way you get a low-end first round pick (which is still good) and a very good second round pick.

Don't be afraid of the first pick.

You'll get Tomlinson, or your choice among the true feature backs, and you'll end up with 3 of the Top 25 players.

6 is fine, 7 puts you in awkward country where you begin to consider lesser backs like Barber III, Portis, Larry Johnson, guys with serious potential flaws.

At 6, you might slide into Steven Jackson or Addai, but it's sketchy.

I would take 1 or 10.  The middle seems like "no man's (or woman's) land" to me.

you definitly want the first pick LT and Adrian Peterson are the best players out there...can't go wrong with either one

I always like the middle of the pack. Go for 6,7or 8
