I have been reflecting on the balance or lack of balance of these two in my life. What about you?

  1. Calling spiritual growth character development is a linguistic twist that may keep those fixated on the mortal time frame from nit picking and allow them to participate in the actual conversation. After all, if there is anywhere to go beyond mortality all that you can take with you will be your character and your integrity.  Is that acceptable verbiage, short-timers?

  2. Spiritual growth. If I don't have God, what do I have? Sod all.

  3. Actually the spiritual growth, though am struggling with both of them too. I know that it is quit difficult to balance the 3 of them.

Anyway, i strongly believe that with the spiritual growth, you will be in position to get the money with less effort. However, those who have written books still insist that its good to balance the three for better results.

However, money also when required for God's work can be necessary for your satisfaction.

    Thanks for asking

  4. Though I go to work every day, I do not look at this as time pursuing money. I must stay alive and this is how society makes me do it.

I am far more interested in my spirituality.

  5. Spiritual growth

  6. It depends on how you define spiritual growth.  If you asked 10 people about spirituality, you will likely either get blank stares and/or 10 different answers.  Our culture is confused about spirituality because virtually no one has true spiritual attainment.  A couple of 100 years ago, there were many more people who had connection with sprituality, at some points, it was even the norm.  But now we find ourselves in "spritual exile", if we know it or not but this exile was on purpose.  As our desires needed to develop to a point where we want/need to connect with the force of nature that controls everything.

Drugs have no relationship with connecting to the upper force, even though there are man made religions that use drugs to enter altered states, and call it spirituality.

Here is a blog answer by Kabbalist Rav Michael Laitman, Phd about drugs and spirituality:

  7. IF YOU HAVE A SPIRITUAL GROWTH SO YOU WILL GET TIME ,,MONEY AND ENERGY ...

  8. what people refer to as spiritual growth, i would say is a h**l of a lot more important than money.

but i dont believe we have spirits or souls. i dont believe we have any innate need to develop our "spirit"

just that the more experiences you have, the better you can deal with new ones.

  9. given just those two options i'd have to say money.  i do not believe in a supreme being so there is no spiritual growth happening.

  10. Spiritual Growth, most definitely!  God promised us, over and over that He "will" provide!  And, He does!  He may not provide all your desires, but He does provide enough to sustain life. He also provides you with balance in all things.

Money is empty and cold.  It permeates all that is negative in life.  In all my experience in life concerning money, it has always compounded  confusion, arguments and greed.  We need money to live, period.  Any more is too much.  You are far better off to share it or give it away to those without.  It keeps a pure heart! :D

  11. Spiritual growth is more significant than all things. Without GOD, no one can get anywhere or do anything. Peace!
