What dress code is required for dinner at the nicer restaurants?

This is at either Nassau or Paradise Island finer dining places, male and female.

There are a couple restaurants at the Atlantis resort that require men to have on jackets and ladies wear dresses or dressy slacks and top.  If they have a dress code, they will let you know when you make your reservations.    

Most other fine dining establishments are upscale resort dress.  

As your walk around your hotel or casino, you will see people dressed in everything from jeans to after 5 wear, so people watching is always enjoyable.

What might be termed smart casual.  The Bahamians are in fact very stylish people who love dressing up.
