What dress should i wear for the Marine Ball?

Question

Any dress ideas for a Marine ball gown? Im 5'7" 125 lbs blonde. Should it be a long, medium or short... Straps, halter, strapless... things like that.

It'll be next month so it'll obviously need to be fall colors.
