Question:

What drinks should I buy for this party?

I am having a pool party of about 7 or 8 13 year old girls (maybe a couple boys) and I am on an extremely tight budget (my mom is making me pay for everything).

I don't want to buy pop because it's so expected. For example, I'm ordering chinese food instead of pizza. Sushi instead of chips.

I was thinking about buying a bunch of energy drinks like monster, but that seems too expensive.

What should I buy?

  1. get like punch or something like that. i dont think that's too expensive

  2. NON-ALCOHOLIC PUNCH

2 (6 oz.) cans frozen orange juice

2 (6 oz.) cans frozen lemonade

8 (6 oz.) cans plain water

Juice of 3 fresh lemons or 6 oz. of lemon juice

2 c. grenadine or 2 (6 oz.) cans frozen dark fruit drink (cherry, grape, raspberry)

    3 qts. pre-chilled ginger ale

Mix all together, float orange slices on top, add cherries or frozen strawberries. Makes 38 (5 ounce) cups or 48 (4 ounce) cups.

  3. WATER. It's THE most healthy, best for being outside in the heat, goes with anything.

But tea is also nice, as well as lemonade. If you want to make a cheap and good punch, here's one:

    1bottle sprite or 7-UP

    1 box Orange Sherbert

    1 box Lime Sherbert

  4. Iced tea, lemonade ?

  5. I suggest a couple different types of Kool Aid, they are very good at quenching a thirst not to mention extremely cheap!

    Possibly a lemonade.

  6. Try a strawberry limeaid.

In a glass pour a tablespoon or so of strawberry mix, a couple of lime slices and crushed ice.

When you are ready to serve pour Sprite over the top and use a cute stir stick to top it off.  Use clear glasses because it's pretty unusual to look at.

Super cute and the strawberry mix cost about 2 or 3 dollars at Kroger or Wal-mart.  Limes are pretty cheap and Sprite is too.  Good Luck!!!

  7. beer

  8. Jones soda is good.

Also these kiddy cocktails are really popular with teen parties:

They included these in our soda bar at the hall we rented.

  9. Perhaps part of your party "fun" would be to make and enjoy old-fashioned rootbeer floats!  You can purchase low cost rootbeer and vanilla ice cream in 5 gallon tubs and let everyone make their own.  Include toppings such as whipped cream, cherries, chocolate chips etc. for the more adventurous guests.  Have lots of bottled water on hand for the post float moments.

  10. ok this is wut i make a lot of the time:

get sprite, lemonade, & maraschino cherry juice stuff

then mix together!! it mite cost SUMTHIN 2 buy it but trust me, sssooo worth it!!
